THE RATHKOPFS

Anna and Jordan Rathkopf are an award-winning Brooklyn-based photography and directing duo with a cinematic, documentary-inspired style. Their work explores tenderness, resilience, and connection with raw honesty, using storytelling to amplify powerful voices and spark meaningful conversations around caregiving and survivorship.

Their book, HER2: Diagnosed, the Caregiver, and Their Son, chronicles their journey through illness and caregiving, offering dual perspectives on shared struggles and strength. The project has been featured by CNN, Good Morning America, LensCulture, Brigitte, and more.

Recognized by CommArts, The Communicator Awards, and American Photography, they were honored in 2024 with the Photographic Achievement Award in Visual Storytelling by the United Nations’ International Photographic Council for their deeply human and visually striking work.

IMAGE LIBRARY AND VIDEO CAMPAIGN

Over the course of three production days, we produced a compelling photo and video series for DREAM’s "All Kids Can" campaign, highlighting the stories of students and their journey toward success.

Veteran Day Campaign

Over two shoot days, the Rathkopfs photographed 12 different veteran employees working for RXR for a social and print campaign including an exhibition in the lobby of their flagship property 75 Rock at Rockefeller Center

We scripted, art-directed, produced, and post-produced a photo and video series featuring 14 breast cancer patients, highlighting the critical need for inclusive clinical trial opportunities to improve outcomes for underserved communities.
